Directions |
Synthepol P134L should be catalysed
with 1-2.0% MEKP and mixed thoroughly prior to application to the
glass reinforcement. The ratio of catalyst to resin can be varied
to adjust the gel time and cure. For best results workshop temperatures
should be maintained above 15º C in order to ensure that a satisfactory
cure is achieved.
Synthepol LSE resin will give the same interlaminar adhesion as a
wax free resin but do not bond over resin rich, dirty or dusty laminates.
High catalyst levels and high ambient temperatures may shorten the
rebonding time which is usually a maximum of 48 hours at 25°C.
If in any doubt, sand or abrade the surface before applying additional
layers of reinforcement to ensure good bonding. |
|
Storage |
All Synthepol polyester products should be stored
in closed containers away from
any source of ignition and out of direct sunlight at temperatures
below 25º C. |
