Hi George, I have a hobby where I mould different little things in silicone moulds. I am impressed with Turbo Builders Bog but when I mould it I’m left with little voids in the finished product. Is there anything that I might add before adding the hardener to make it runnier and fill the voids? I love it’s lightness and easy sanding so am keen to a find solution.

Thanks George, Steve

This is a tricky one, since we made Builders Bog very thixotropic fot the intended purpose and you need to remove or lessen this property. The only diluent that will work is an unsaturated polyester resin promoted for BPO catalyst. Most “fibreglass” resins are promoted for MEKP catalyst and may or may not work depending on the promoter used. You could try this, but I cannot guarantee success. A potential source of his resin is a car repair fibreglass resin kit from Repco or similar shops.
